چکیده

Recently, sequences generated by nonlinear dynamical systems have been considered in CDMA spread spectrum application and it has been shown that they can behave better than classical ones. In almost all cases, classical criterium have been considered to design good spreading sequences, they are based on periodic or aperiodic correlation functions, like Figure Of Merit or Maximal Correlation Pick. Moreover, conventional receiver has been considered in evaluating spreading sequence performances. In this contribution we will consider the Average Interference Parameter (AIP) as a criterium to select good spreading sequences. We will exploit the wealth of the logistic map and propose quantized Super Stable Orbits (SSOs) as binary sequences. We will show that it is possible to find new binary sequences with AIP better than those of classical Gold sequences. As an application, we will consider the performances of decorrelating receiver using proposed binary sequences. Keywords— DS-CDMA, Spreading Sequences, Decorrelating receiver, Chaos Super Stable Orbits.

Nonlinear Multiuser Receiver for Optimized Chaos-Based DS-CDMA Systems

Chaos based communications have drawn increasing attention over the past years. Chaotic signals are derived from non-linear dynamic systems. They are aperiodic, broadband and deterministic signals that appear random in the time domain. Because of these properties, chaotic signals have been proposed to generate spreading sequences for wide-band secure communication recently. Like conventional DS...

Performance Evaluation of Ds-cdma System Using Chaotic Binary Sequences

In this paper generation of binary sequences derived from chaotic sequences defined over Z4 is proposed. The six chaotic map equations considered in this paper are Logistic map, Tent Map, Cubic Map, Quadratic Map and Bernoulli Map. Using these chaotic map equations, sequences over Z4 are generated which are converted to binary sequences using polynomial mapping. Segments of sequences of differe...

Spreading Sequences Generated Using Asymmetrical Integer-Number Maps

Chaotic sequences produced by piecewise linear maps can be transformed to binary sequences. The binary sequences are optimal for the asynchronous DS/CDMA systems in case of certain shapes of the maps. This paper is devoted to the one-to-one integer-number maps derived from the suitable asymmetrical piecewise linear maps. Such maps give periodic integer-number sequences, which can be transformed...
